We're educators who kept noticing the same gap. So much of what's made for children is made to sort them, measure them and fit them into boxes. Very little meets a child where they are, or helps them grow from there.
In classrooms, homes and child care settings around the world, we've seen so many brilliant, one-of-a-kind lights, and how easily they get dimmed in the name of fitting in. Everywhere, the truth was the same: a child flourishes when they're truly seen, and given the tools to grow.
So that's what we make. Hands-on resources that nurture the gifts a child already has, and build the skills they'll carry for life: naming their feelings, trying hard things, solving problems, caring for others, doing meaningful work with their own two hands.
Imagine if each of us had been seen, as children, for exactly who we were, and given the tools to reach our full potential. That's the childhood we want to help create, one small moment at a time, for as many little lights and as many parents as we can.
