Good to know
Questions, answered.
Everything about downloads, printing and using Lumroot kits.
Is this a physical product?
No. Every Lumroot resource is an instant digital download. You'll get a PDF through Etsy to print at home or use on a tablet.
What ages are Lumroot resources for?
Most kits are made for ages 4–10, with simpler and fuller options inside so siblings can use them together. The coloring book's child pages are for ages 4–7. Our age ranges are a gentle suggestion, not a rule. Every child is at their own stage, and you know yours best. Simplify it, stretch it or make it your own. There's no wrong way to use a Lumroot kit.
Do I need special supplies?
No. Most kits need a printer, paper, scissors and crayons, plus things you already have at home, like a clothespin or a jar.
Is there a black-and-white version?
Yes. Every activity kit includes a full color PDF and an ink-saver version.
How do I download my files?
After you buy on Etsy, your files are ready right away under Purchases and Reviews in your Etsy account, and Etsy also emails you a download link.
Can I share the files?
Lumroot files are for personal and single-family use. If you'd like to use them with a co-op or class, email us at grow@lumroot.co.
Do you use AI?
Yes, as a helper. Every kit starts as an original Lumroot idea. We use AI tools to help with writing, design and illustration, then review, edit and finish every page ourselves before it reaches your family.
Do you follow a specific teaching method?
No. Lumroot is its own approach: hands-on, nature-led and focused on the whole child. Our resources fit into any family's days, at home or alongside school.
